Here are the 7 steps you need to do to get started this week:

STEP 1:

  1. Avoid the following as these are foods that generally not beneficial for overall well being:

  • Artificial sweeteners (e.g. sucralose, aspartame)

  • Alcohol

  • Coffee

  • Dairy

  • Excess Gluten

STEP 2:

  1. Eat every 4 hours.

  2. Choose a shake for 2 meals a day using the recipe guidelines below. A shake made on its own with just water and no additional foods is considered a dietary supplement and is not a substitute for a full meal.

  • 2 scoops of FeelFit Pea Protein Shake

  • 1/3 cup of veggies such as spinach, kale or pumpkin

  • 1/4 cup of fruit such as berries or apples

  • 1 tablespoon healthy fat such as nut butter or half an avocado

  • 8–16 fl. oz. of liquid such as water or non-dairy milk (based on preference)

  1. Eat a healthy, well-balanced meal for 1 meal occasion

  2. Include healthy snacks as needed to help maintain energy

  3. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and support normal bodily functions, including digestion. (Try to drink at least half your body weight in oz. each day.)

  4. Add additional vegetables, healthy fats and/or carbohydrates to your shakes or meals if you are feeling hungry.

STEP 3:

Get Moving! That’s right, create a daily exercise routine and make sure you do it every day. It can be a quick fifteen minute run around the block, abs and arms workout with dumbbells, or just squats!

It’s up to you to create a fun routine and there are plenty of YouTube videos that can help you with short daily workouts from home. Let’s go!

Get enough good quality sleep–aim for at least 8 hours. Being well rested will allow your body to function properly all day long. You need your energy so get a good nights sleep every night!

Track your goals and progress. It’s important to track your efforts! Keep track of your new diet, exercises, and lifestyle changes to see how much weight you have lost, muscle you’ve gained, and how proactive you are during the day–you must know that what you are doing is impactful for your body.
